Scope
What we install
All of it is optional and all of it is compatible — we would rather do three parts properly than eleven parts halfway.
Lighting & keypads
Dimmed circuits, tunable white, and engraved keypads that replace a wall of six switches with four labelled scenes. Outdoor circuits run on sunset times, not guesses.
Climate & zoning
Smart thermostats, multi-zone control, heat-pump and in-floor integration, humidity and ventilation logic. Rooms nobody is in stop being heated like they are.
Motorised blinds
Wired or battery roller blinds and drapery tracks, grouped by facade so the west side drops before the afternoon sun gets into the room.
Security & cameras
PoE cameras with local recording you own, video doorbells, glass-break and motion sensors, and alerts that tell the difference between a raccoon and a person.
Access & smart locks
Deadbolts with codes and keys that still work, garage and gate control, temporary access for trades and cleaners that expires on its own.
Network & Wi-Fi
A proper switch and access points on cable, VLANs that keep cameras off your laptops, and coverage that survives the basement, the garage and the back deck.
Audio & video
In-ceiling speakers by zone, a tidy rack instead of a shelf of boxes, TV and projector feeds distributed on cable, one remote the family agrees on.
Sensors & automations
Occupancy, door, water-leak and temperature sensors — the cheap parts that stop a burst washing-machine hose from becoming a floor replacement.
Energy integration
If we also fit your solar and battery, the house learns to run the dishwasher, the EV charger and the pool pump on your own surplus first.

Pricing comes from the site visit: we walk the house, count the circuits and the device positions, and quote one fixed number with equipment, labour and programming in it.
Open walls or finished walls
Both work. They just work differently.
New build & renovation
Walls are open, so we can run cable everywhere it will ever be wanted and keep the intelligence in a cupboard instead of in the cloud.

Retrofit in a finished home
No one is opening your ceilings for a light scene. We use retrofit-friendly gear on reliable wireless protocols and fish cable only where it genuinely earns it.

- Battery blinds where there is no power at the window head
- Zigbee, Z-Wave and Matter mesh, with a hub that lives in your house
- Cable pulled selectively: cameras, access points, the rack
- Staged over weekends if you would rather not have a crew in for a week
Reliability
It has to keep working — including on the day the internet doesn't.
Every system we build runs its logic on hardware inside your house. Scenes, schedules, dimmers, blinds, thermostats and locks keep doing their job with the modem unplugged; the cloud is only there for remote access and notifications. We do not design systems that hold your lights hostage to a monthly fee, and we tell you up front which devices have optional cloud plans and what you lose by skipping them.

Questions
Straight answers
The five we get asked at every kitchen table. Anything else, ask on the site visit.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Lighting, blinds, climate, locks and scenes run on a controller in your house, so they keep working when the internet is down. What you lose while it's out is remote access from outside the home, push notifications and voice assistants — everything you can reach from inside the house still responds.
Can I still use normal light switches?
Always. We treat that as a requirement, not an option: every automated circuit keeps a physical control on the wall that behaves the way anyone expects. Guests, kids and trades should never need an app to turn on a light.
What happens if I move or sell the house?
The system stays with the house and the accounts transfer to the buyer. We hand over an as-built document — device list, rack labels, network layout, logins — and we're happy to do a handover session with the new owner. Nothing is locked to us.
Do I have to rewire the house?
Usually no. Most retrofits use smart switches in the existing boxes plus wireless devices on Zigbee, Z-Wave or Matter. We pull new cable only where it clearly pays off — cameras, access points, wired keypads — and we'll tell you when it doesn't.
Who supports it after the install?
We do, with the same crew that fitted it. Small changes — a scene renamed, a schedule shifted, a new device added — are usually done remotely with your permission. If something needs hands, we come out. There's no mandatory service contract to keep the system running.
